It is good vs evil (and if evil wins it turns to Saruman vs Sauron), so no politics. The other one is the Last days of the third age (lord of the rings stuff). But I would not consider it an easy mod, might take some time getting used to it.
It is basically 13th century europe plus the mediterranean and adds a lot of cool features, like that you actually keep weapons and horses you pick up on the battlefield. My two favorites by far are for one Anno Domini (12-something, always forget the number). (copied my comment from an identical question Yesterday)
